Federal funding for the 'Climate-Friendly New Building' program is affected by the ruling of the Federal Constitutional Court and the budget freeze. Applications are said to continue to be approved until end of the year. A possible funding stop from January 1st, 2024 is currently under consideration.
The funding program contains cheap loans amounting to: €150,000 with effective annual interest rates from 0.01%.
For investors, the planned accelerated tax depreciation of 11% per year for 'climate-friendly new buildings with sustainable building quality seal' offers attractive tax advantages. Construction cost caps will no longer apply.
